This is a 4-way Pocket Screwdriver Tool made as advertising for Firestone Steel Products. - This was one of the many divisions of the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company (Firestone Building Products, Firestone Industrial Products, Firestone Specialty Products, etc.) - swivels to open and close
The front is stamped "Firestone Steel Products / I Believe in Safety"
The back is stamped "Bassett U.S.A. 78" = (W.E. Bassett Company, Connecticut)
Made in the U.S.A / Stainless Steel / 4 sizes flat-head screwdrivers / circa 1970's
** Firestone was founded in 1900 and sold in 1988 to Bridgestone (Japan)
** W.E. Bassett was founded in 1947 and is currently the largest supplier of Beauty Implements in the USA, famous for their TRIM line.
