I am on vacation, and I am still grinding out some terrific picking. Currently I have as many devices I can scare up to research this sweet lamp. However I am coming up short..... I initially thought this was/is Italian. Now I am thinking German? Or is it Sunset Lamp? Anybody???? I would love to figure it out, so I can move forward with the rest of my vaca. It stands about three feet. Metal base, and a white UL tag with red letters.

Hi it looks like a wax reduction technique has been used to realize the pattern. Parts of the body has been covered with wax before the snakeskin like glaze has been put over it... the wax has been melting while it has been burned...
Anyway i'm quite sure it is not a german piece, rather italian or from the usa.
You might find a signature underneath when you unsrew the wooden foot...
