    Can anyone tell me when this stein was made? I have owned it for over 1o years. It has the M on bottom indicating made in Munich. Thanks, I cannot find another on google anywhere!

      Probably made and sold for October Fest as a tourist item. There are several sites where October Fest items are cataloged. You wouldn't see a German drinking out of a stein like this at the corner guesthaus.

      When I was a kid, we called this bier "Soap Suds" for it's foamy head. Cool piece! =)

      I have a similar one ,Its a Lowenbrau' Stein also ,I'm guessing its close to a hundred years old ,My Steins were left to me by my Oma from Germany ,some of them were passed down to her, To me they are priceless and I would never sell them at some of the prices I've seen on here
